In reference to a remit, touching education and training for Sanitary Inspectors, the President, Mr. 11. Paul, stated that the General Council had recommended that a committee be set tip to go into the subject more fully, and that lhe conimittee consist of Messrs ,1. Gardener, Vf. Furness, AV. Kershaw, W. Gough, E. C. Alexander, F, Tomlinson, 11. Paul and JR. Bleakley. The remit in question read as follows:—"That the As. sociation take the necessary steps to ensure to it the same facilities in the conduct of examinations bv the Royal Sanitary Institute as has been accorded to the Sanitary Inspectors’ Association, England; whereby the Royal rate examining body, and lhe Sanitary Institute censes to be a sepniary Institute Inspectors examining board merging to form one body to examine candidates and grant the only certificate to be officially recog. ruseil. It was resolved that the eimlerencc approve of Council's recommendation.
