VERDICT OF SUICIDE.
A FARMER’S DEATH. (Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, July 24. At the inquest on Denny Tobin, a farmer, of Marton Mains, who was found dead in the Rose Gardens, the evidence showed that he was in illhealth. He purchased stryehine from a chemist, stating he required it tJ poison rats. A verdiet was returned that deceased died from the effects of poison selfadministered, whilst in a state of great depression. He leaves a widow aud six children. REMAINS IDENTIFIED. INVERCARGILL, July 24. The human remains found in the Estuary have been identified as those of XV illiam Henry Fox, single, aged 47 years, who had been missing for five weeks. Deceased served in the war and was in receipt of a small pension for disability. There are no suspicious circumstances.
