A METEOR.
STRIKES EARTH IN U.S.A. NEW YORK, Al ay 13. A meteor flashed across the sky in 1 A’irginia, rocking the residences in half a dozen cities by the shock when it reached the earth. The meteor struck a grove of oak trees causing a depression of more than 500 square feet in area. Several trees were buried in the immense hole.
