Airs AV. Alallinson, of Kopara, is at present on a visit to GrcymoutTi. Air G. Alangos, of Lyell, is at present in Greymouth on a visit, tn his mother. Air AV. Toll, for 20 years a resident of Denniston and AVestport, left yes terday on a. visit to Bendigo, Victoria. Air A. Cresswell, the well-known traveller, is at present here on a business visit. Messrs T. and W. Newman, of Nelson, the well-known motor proprietors, are at present visiting Greymouth, and arc staying at the Albion Hotel. Air TL E. Holland, ALP., Leader of the New Zealand Parliamentary Labour I Party, is to speak in AVellington tomorrow evening. His South Island tour has proved most successful. At the Fire Brigade meeting last night Air J. Evans, Borough Turncock, who had lately resigned, was presented with, a handsome Gold Aledal. Superintendent Clarke, in making the presentation, congratulated cx-Firenian Evans on serving for 20 years, and trusted he would live long to enjoy himself with his wife and family «
