DEATH IN A FIT.
FATALITY AT SEA. TIMARU, May 15. ! An inquest was held to-day into the sudden death of Henry Thomas Green, aged 57, a donkeyniaii on the s.s. AVoodarra, who died suddenly at sea 24 hours before the steamer reached Timaru on Sunday. The evidence of his mates showed that the deceased had been in good health, and never complained. At midday on Saturday he was found on his knees and head on the floor in the lavatory, and, when car- ) ried out for the doctor to see him, j he was dead. An autopsy by Dr ' Gabites revealed no possible cause of . death, except a, small cyst on the brain, { and the doctor concluded that this cans- | ed an epileptic lit, and that death j was due to asphyxiation, through the ! deceased falling in a flit in a position ! that obstructed breathing. The coroner found a verdict accordingly.
