HARI HARI STOCK SALE, A CLEARING SALE OF DAIRY STOCK. A Hari Hari sale last week was one of the best indicators for prices that have yet been recorded tor good milk cows in the locality. Mr William Wall's herd were brought under the hammer in fine condition and the numerous assembly of dairy experts from all parts of Westland made competition fust and interesting The top price of £20 12s 6d for a four-year-old Jersey Shorthorn cow, purchased by Mr W. Searle is probably a oCast record. Excellent prices prevailed for the whole line and iv case of young cows the demand was keen. The following prices were recorded: One cow at £20 12s 6d, ane at £18 7s 6d, two at £18, two at £17 7s 6d, two at £15 12b 6d, three at £15 76 6d, ope at £15 10s, two at £14 10s, one at £15 one at £14 2s 6d, one at £14 ss, two at £14 3s 6d, the line averaging £16 Is.
