Miss Norah Sampson arrived from Wellington by the Mapourika yesterday. Mr Hayes, of the Paparoa Coal Company arrved in town from north yesterday. Mr Ollivier, of the Bank of New Zealand, leaves for Christchurch on Monday. Mr J. Marshall, brother of the Inspector of Mines, at Westport, left by the Mapourika this morning- 'to att<*ud the iunera! of the late Mr Munro.
