Rev. D. C. Baites' 'summary and forecast are as follows : — The weather has been warm and fine but with increasing haze genrally and fog also - : -n the far south. „. The barometer has fallen everywhere and northerly winds, now "revail. Present indications are for warm, weather with increasing haziness and fog preceding more unsettled wea/lher generally during the next three or four days.

Rain is probable shortly on the West Coast and in the southern districts and later elswhere.

Expect freshning northerly wii'ds especially in, and south of, Cook Strait, with a falling barometer everywhere. v

Probably low in the south abou 1^ Saturday.
