THE MISSING STEAMER PERTHSHIRE.
[PKR PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, May 30. The steamer Stella and Sterling left Hokianga this afternoon. Both vessels will tow the Perthshire if found. The Captaius have arranged to meet in latitude 32*30, longitude 169 at 8 a m on Wednesday. Should only one vessel turn up she will proceed to Norfolk Island, arriving there on Friday. If they do not meet they will return to Cape Maria to import. Both ste&yae\'& will xigmg. The captainfl think that the Perthshire has gone further to the North than is generally considered. The Devonport Ferry Company are considering the advisability of sending the s s Admiral out in search of the Perthshire in charge of Captain Roberts, but have hot yet come to a decision on the matter.
The Elingamite kept a good lookout, but saw nothing of the Perthshire.
The Westralia, for Sydney, shonld have a good chance of picking tho vessel up.
