BEST PEN OF LAMBS. RESULTS ANNOUNCED. Results of the class for three iambs valued on refiedule for carcase, fat and skins, competed for at last week’s A. and P. Show, were made available yesterday by the secretary. Mr. W. E. Chamberlain. V . W. Smith was the winner and next in order, among the ten competitors. were E. A. Cameron. 2. H. B. Livingston 3, W. W. Smith h.c.. and J. E. Daultou c. The heaviest pens proved most successful. first, second and third places going to the three heaviest pens entered. Details of the awards, with the weights given in parentheses; were as follows: First prize. V. W. Smith Meat 39. 47. 52) 13Slb. £4 10s 9d; fat. 4-Üb. 2jd; skins. 5s 9d; total value. £4 16s SRI. Second prize, £. A. Cameron.— Meat (44.44.47) 1351 b, £4 7s 2Jd; fat. 3llb, 2d : skins, 5s 104 d ; total value, £4 13s 2RI. Third award, H. B. Livingston.— Meat (35, 3-5, 43) 1131 b. £3 17s 4jd; fat, 3Mb, 2d: skins, 6s; total value, £4 3s Old. Highly commended. Wv. W. Smith. —Meat (35. 35, 38) 1081 b. £3 15s 8-J-d; fat, 3jlb, 21 d; skins, os Od, total value, £4 Is 4RI. Commended, J. E. Daultou.—Meat (35, 35. 36) 1061 b. £3 15s Id; fat, 2!lb, ljd; skins, 5s 3d ;■ total value. £4 0s old. The fourth heaviest pen, which was sixth in value, was Mr. G. D. Jobson’s, the details of which were as follows: Meat (38, 38, 36), 1121 b, £3 14s 9d; fat, 31b, l^d; skins, os 6d; total value. £4 0s 4£d. The 36Lb lamb was graded second.
