MISHAP AT MANGERE.

PILOT .AND PASSENGER . UNHURT.

,A Moth ’ 'piano belonging to the Auckland Aero Club “stalled” when about to land at the Mangere Aerodrome at 12,30--pirn, on Thursday. The wings and propeller of the machine were extensively damaged, but the pilot, Mr V. Salek, and a, passenger, although shaken, were not injured. As soon as the engine stalled the ’plane reared up on its nose and 1 fell on its hack: The damage is fairly ex'tensive , and repairs are expected to take two or three weeks. Mr Salek was returning from Te Aroha, where took part in the air pageant.
