•‘MISLEADING LADY.”

“The Alisleading Lady” is a bright and clever comedy that is sure to suit ail tastes. The stars are Edmund Lowe and Claudette Colbert, players of skill and polish who make the fullest use of the humorous opportunities which the story provides. It presents a strange admixture of sophisticated comedy and genuinely original humour, and is possessed of a- theme as unusual as •it is striking. Moreover, a number of assisting artists iind plenty to do in roles that are both varied and amusing. “The Alisleading Lady” is. excellent entertainment, and should not be missed. It is undoubtedly one ol Claudette Colbert’s best pictures, to date. The supporting programme is excellently balanced and covers a wide range of short subjects. In the programme for to-morrow Ruth ! CiiatterLon, star of some of the most outstanding productions of the .talking screen excels all her previous efforffts in the latest Paramount offering, “To-morrow and Tomorrow,” Miss Chattorton handles with the most perfect delicacy the role of .aii -erring wife tvhoso lapse from the conventional path is so atoned for that one is forced to sympathise with her rather than censure her. Robert Ames is seen as the husband, and Paul Lukas is ideally, cast as the wife’s lover. As is customary at the Regent Theatre, the supporting programme is of especial -merit. .
