At the Sydney wool sales 10.240 bales were offered, of which 9G36 were sold- and 3-10 wore disposed ot privately. Tjie market continued firm and unchanged at the previous day’s rates. Comebacks and crossbreds met with a brisk demand, and sold readily at recently improvedlevels, satisfactory clearances being made. Gresv merino sold to lGtd. The average price of wool sold last week was -Cll Is "d per bale, or 8.59 d per pound.
