MEETING OF COMMITTEE.

The; committee of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club met last Mr. W. Jenkins presiding over the following: Messrs. 0. Thorpe A. C. Swan, E. O. Sutcliffe ,E. Algio, J. Mercer, A. Hart. C. A. Remnant, arid J. N. Fraser (hon. sec.). Misses R. Mason arid E. Brosnalian and Edward James were elected new members. ” ; -b • It was decided to offer the Wellington' Athletic Club January 29 as a suitable date- for the Eteveneaux Oup challenge. In view of this, it was resolved to inform the Wairoa Athletic Club that it was impossible .to hold the match l'aeei for Mr. Barry’s Cup between Miss P. Stewart (Wairoa) and Miss'N..\ Wilson ( (Gisborne) on that date owing to the large programme on that (day, and suggesting Thursday', -January 17 as a. suitable date .for the race. It was also decided to invite the Wairoa ladies to compete at Gisborne at ail evening jneeting on December 6. 1 , - - ■
