ALLEGED THREATENING LET-' TER TO GOVERNAIENT. DIRECTORS DISSOCIATE THEM SELVES FROM LETTER. (Press Associations , TE AKOHA, Oct. 31. The following telegram was received by Air Coates to-night: — , “Referring to letter from All- J. D. Holmes to the Hon. J. A. Young. I bog, oii.ilbehalf of the directors of the Otorohanga Gravel Company., Ltd.,, to deny all previous knowledge of or responsibility for liis-action. AYe dissociate ourselves entirely from any attempt to .influence the Government by means of. threats and strongly disapprove the letter. Air Holmes acted on ' bis own . responsibility and entjrely without the knowledge of the directors Campbell Thomson, chairman of directors, Otorohanga Gravel Coy.,: Ltd.” ; V- ■
