Multive and Bjorneborg ran seven furlongs together, the last six furlongs taking 1.22. Gazique worked at a solid pace over a circuit with a feather-weight m the saddle, and moved nicely. It is rumored that he is an unlikely starter at Gisborne and will make the trip north if the boat arrangements are suitable. Slipstitcli and Multiplane" ran five furlongs in 1.4-1. Nowra worked strong three-quar-ter pace over seven furlongs. Goldsene, Lady Gazeley, and Secret Code ran four furlongs in 53 1-5. Aurore and Orawai went five furlongs in 1.61. Thebes moved nicely over a circuit at three-quarter pace. Flash Lady went a mile in 1.46. Sea Chief, Principal Lady, and Rupahu went,five furlongs in 1.4-1. Cleft and Master Iney worked over one mile and Cleft moved nicely, the journey taking 1.46. Puna Rakau worked a circuit at half pace. . King of Athol went five furlongs m 1.5. Boggitts moved nicely v, hen going three-quarter pace over a. circuit. True Joy and Demonstrate galloped four furlongs in 53sec. Black Lace galloped five furlongs, the last four in 53sec. Downliam -went over four lurl mgs in 56sec. Perfidy ran six furlongs in 1.21. Con and Hexton went six furlongs in 1.22, C'on galloped in bandages, and appeared to walk a bit sore after working. Hythread worked strong half-pace. Blackall and Castalia went one mile, the last six furlongs taking 1.22. Three Auckland, horses have arrived, _ Money moon, Merry Nell and Corinth, and they worked at a jog once round. Bjorneborg has a swollen knee, as the result of rapping a couple of •hurdles while schooling last Saturday. It appears as if something is amiss with Multifual, as lie was missing from the track workers yesterday, when the course was uist to his liking, being nice and soft. MELBOURNE TRAINING NOTES. At Flemington King Offa did eleven furlongs in 2.25, the last ten taking 2.13. Coq d’Or ran six furlongs in 1.201, Daius half a mile in 52, and Prince Royal a mile in 1.591.
