POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the management committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held on Monday night, Mr Maude (chairman) presiding. The patrons were re-elected, with the addition of Mr G. H. Lockett. Other officers were elected as follows:—Chairman, Mr Maude; hon. sec. Mr Temperton; treasurer, Mr Fox; committee, Messrs Barton, Harwood, Allen, Wood, Harvey, Fraser. Eton and Duncan. It was decided to continue Thursday’s competition with one match only. High School v. All Comers. The affiliation fee for the year for senior clubs was fixed at £1 Is. The charge for third grade players other than school boys was decided upon as being Is registration fee, and ground feed of 6d for each Saturday. The Saturday competitions start on November 2. Lists of all playing members with the accompanying registration fee of Is per member should be in'the secretary’s hands by Monday, 21st inst. It was decided to play a scratch match on Saturday between United and Civil Service, at High School grounds at 2.15 p.m.
