GISBORNE OIL FIELDS.
TO BE INSPECTED BY DR, BELL. Press Association. ■WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. Dr. J. M. Bell, Director of Geological Survey, left by the Manawatu train this morning for Ohakune, on the Main Trunk line. From Ohakune he will strike across country to Gisborne, and he expects that this will occupy six day 6. On reaching Gisborne he null take part in the survey of the oil-bearing tract of country near that town.
