A NEW LIGHTHOUSE.
ON CAPE BRETT. Press Association. AVELLINGTON, Feb. 17. Iho Alarine Department has deemed to erect the new lighthouse on tne north-east coast of this island at Cape Brett. Tho light will bo a J“ lIII H * ! "l>t oi the first order, about o()011 above the sea, and will be visible seven miles past the Cavallis to the northward, and southward down to a line drawn between the Poor Kmglits and the Three Gables Tho ’ light is expected to be installed within ten months.
