At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce to-day, it was resolved that the secretary communicate with the Chambers at Invercargill, Dunedin, Timarii, and Christchurch, on the subject of the weight of grain in corn sacks, re holding a conference at Oamaru or some other suitable centre, and also that tnS Chambers of Commerce at Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide be asked to state the position in those places.
