NAPIER VALUATIONS.

A BIG INCREASE. Press Association. The valuation of the Borough of Napier lor the current year ending March 31st, 1908, bus just been completed. The amount is £101,209, as compared with £98,000 for -the previous year, an increase of £0197. Last year’s valuation, £9B/071, was an increase on that of the previous similar period of £0457. Napier was declared a municipality on November 20ch, 1874, and the valuation for the year ending November loth, 1875, was £37,300. The value ot property in the town has, therefore, increased in 34 years -by £66,909.
