INVERCARGILL, last night. The Southland Education Board discussed the-Health Department’s scheme for medical inspection of school children. The Board doubts whether the yvork could he effectually done by teachers and is arranging a conference yvith medical men to discuss the matter. The general opinion waß that legislation yvould be necessary.
