The Execulive of the Cricket Association yesterday wired to the Victorian Associa* tion that un'ess New South Wales players who accepted the offer rf the Melbourne Club withdraw they will be immediately disqualified. At a meeiiog of the Execu tlve to day a letter was received from McKay, declining to cancel his agreement with tbe Melbourne Club. The Executive are now awaiting replies from other New South Wal.s and inter-State players, all of whom have been written to. It is rumoured that some other phyers have replied in a similar way to McKay. A meeting of a number of prominent players was held last night, but the proceedings have not been divulged. Officials and others of the Cricket Association express themselves very stroDgly at the action of the Melbourne Club in secai'fDg an agreement with Nsw South Wales players in January last while the Victorian Association was negotiating with New South Wales in reference to representation oo the Board of Control. One of the prominent members states that if tho Trustees grant the cricket ground to tbe Melbourne Club for ma:ches legal proceedings will be taken against the Trustees,
