KULA AND HIS BROTHERS ARRESTED.

Pour hundred of Bunbaata’s followers crossed the Buffalo River at Umsioga, where Kula’s people were already armed, The main body, consisting of five hundred commanded by Hradman Mteli and some Batmhes Rebels, have crossed the Tugela, returning to their own kraals, or seeking protection among the disaffected, Kula and his brothers have been arrested and brought to Belpmakaar. The Na’.al Assembly has sanctioned half a million war loan. Mr Smythe said Natal’s relations with the Imperial Government were most cordial. They showed an evident wish to treat tbe Natal fairly and impartially.
