(To the Editor of tho Times.) Sut, —When Councillors create a scare about the milk supply they should have some thought of what they are doing. It should be made clear who is being aimed at, for those who exercise scrupulous care are now having odium heaped on them. The remark that there is soil in some jugs for the growing of potatoes has worked on the imagination of some housewives, who are beginning to believe that they really can seo something of tho kind. Would it not have been better, instead of Councillors casting such aspersions on the whole trade, to have done their duty by singling out tho culprit ? —I am, etc., One Interested.
