INQUEST.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. At tho inquest on Margaret Reilly, the medical evidence showed that the internal organs of the deceased were healthy. Death had been caused by suffocation, arising from vomit lodging in the windpipe and bronchial tube. PRINTERS’ DISPUTE.
During the hearing of the printers machinists’ dispute to-day it was arranged that representatives of the employers and the Union should hold a conference in the morning regarding the minimum wage demands, it being indicated that certain proposals would be made which the cm■ployees might accept. DREDGING. The return from the Rocklands Beach dredge is 290 z ldwt amalgam for 120 hours’ work. MATCH CASE. The hearing of the appeal case, Minister of Customs v. It. Bell ami Co., was not concluded when the Court rose. It will be continued in the morning. ALLEGED CRUELTY. The Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals to-day decided to urge upon the Government to pass an Act forbidding dehorning cattle.
