Automobile Race.
NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright Berlin, June 30.
Tho racing automobiles which started for the journey from Paris to Berlin on Thursday, arrived at Berlin yesterday. M. Fournille’s machine reached Berlin at 11.38 on Saturday morning, and he met with an enthusiastic reception, being carried shoulder high in a chair in the midst of a huge crowd. M. Girardo, the second motorist, arrived at 12.8 p.m. By two o’clock fifteen competitors had finished the journey. All of those motors were driven by benzine. Numerous accidents occurred on the road, and have aroused an outcry in Paris, where M. Waldcek Rousseau, tho Premier, announced that lie will not allow road racing, and that henceforward the limit of speed will he 20 miles an hour.

Most of the hotels in Berlin flew the tricolor.
Fournier occasionally travelled 75 miles an hour. Tho average was 4G. Gaugard motors were second and third.
