At a meeting of Godward’s Spiral Hairpin Company to-night, two representatives, who visited America and Europe, reported that a 17-years’ patent had been secured in America, and the manufacturing rights sold for £2500 and a royalty oE 7,j- per cent, on the gross sales. . In Great Britain, an agreement was in course of arrangement. If completed, it would cover the world’s rights, except America and these colonies, for JE2500, and a twofifth’s interest in all companies formed.
