WOMAN CYCLIST HURT IN SMASH WITH TRUCK

A collision between a motor truck and a cyclist on the intersection of Grey Street and Childers Road. Gisborne. at about 9 a.m. yesterday resulted in injuries to the cyclist which necessitated admission to the Cook Hospital. The cyclist was: Mrs Annie Beatrice Olive JeiTs, of Gisborne. Mrs. Jeff's was cycling in Childers Road towaids the middle of the town and the truck, driven by Mr. William Mitchell Gray, was proceeding towards Waikanae Beach. Mrs. Jeffs is believed to be suffering from head injuries. , The condition of Mrs. Jeffs was reported by the hospital authorities this afternoon to be comfortable.
