CONSTABLE GIVES DEFENCE EVIDENCE

Disagreeing with the evidence given by constables called by the prosecution another member of the police force gave evidence for the defence in a case heard before Mr, W. A. Harlow S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Invercargill on Friday. A constable was called as a witness bv the counsel for a man charged with being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-vehicle. The charge was dismissed.
