YOUNG MAN KILLED IN TRACTOR CAPSIZE

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 1. A young man was killed instantly when a tractor he was operating fell back on him at Mercer yesterday afternoon. He was: Mr. Grenfell Snelllng, aged about 20, farm labourer, employed by Mr. Edgar Mansell, manager of Kohcroa Limited.

Mr. Snelling was top-dressing a paddock .on a farm. A neighbour .saw Mr. Snelling trying to negotiate a steep incline. The tractor did not surmount the slope on the first attempt and when he tried again the machine reared and fell back on him.
