DATES FOR SHIELD AND CASKET TENNIS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 17. The dates for the Nunneley Casket women’s tennis match between Wellington and Auckland at Wellington are February 13 and 14. The WellingtonCanterbury Wilding Shield match for men’s teams will be played at Christchurch on February 17 and 18.

The following players will compete in an invitation tournament here a week before the Nunneley Casket games:

Men. —C. A. Angus (Wellington) A. M. Bailey (Canterbury), J. A. Barry (Auckland), O. M. Bold (Hutt Valley), R. S. McKenzie (Wellington), M. A. Otway (Auckland), S. Painter (Wellington) J. E. Robson (Otago). Women. -Mrs. E. Anderson (Wellington), Miss E. G. Attwood (Auckland), Miss E. Becroft (Auckland), Miss M. Beverley (Auckland), Miss J. Burke (Taranaki). Miss V. Johnson (Auckland), Miss J. Mac Gibbon (Canterbury), Mrs. J. Robb (Hutt Valley).

Tlie tournament will be limited to singles and doubles matches with pussiblv mixed doubles exhibitions.
