Inquiry Pending Into Taxi Dispute
(P.A.) INVERCARGILL, Aug. 13. A temporary settlement has been reached in the dispute affecting the Red Band and Singer Taxi Service. Following an assurance from the Minister of Labour that an investigation would be held into the cause of the trouble—the dismissal of a driver —the men decided at a meeting yestoday to continue work meantime.
