ALL HIGHWAYS OPEN
While the green light has been given by the Gisborne office of the Automobile Association (Auckland) on all roads leading out of Gisborne, it has been suggested that traffic moving south should give preference to the Morere route. The highway from Gisborne to Wairoa. via Morere. gave less trouble in the past week, patrols said, and sections of the Hangaroa highway still required cautious driving.
