BALLOT TAKEN ON P.B. A. & P. OFFICERS
Keen interest in the affairs of the P.B. Agricultural and Pastoral Association was shown at the annual meeting when a ballot had to be taken to appoint the general committee. > This was made necessary by the receipt of 13 nominations for 12 vacancies. Officials appointed were: —President, Mr. P. F. Barker; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. C. Parker and T. A. Witters; treasurer, Mr. F. Tolerton; auditors, Messrs. Graham and Dobson; committee, Messrs. G. R. Ardern. J. Atkins, G. R. Black, J. D. Jobson, P. N. Murphy, S. D. Reeves, D. G. Smith, R. R. Graham, R. C. A. Tombleson, T. L. C. Williams, J. S. Willomk and L. R. Witters. The following retiring members were thanked for their services: Messrs. R. Hansen, L. G. Woodward, C. Graham, A. E. Tattersfield, and C. McGrannachan. Messrs. R. F. Hutchinson and Lawson Field were appointed delegates to the Royal A. and P. Society’s annual conference on June 29. October 28 and 29 were fixed as the dates for the next spring show.
