PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS
“There are rnaany pedestrians in Gisborne who have not a full appreciation of Ihcir rights to pedestrian crossings,” says the Gisborne office of the Automobile Association (Auckland). “On entering a crossing many are under the impression that the whole of the safety lane is theirs. They are entitled to only a half portion and must allow an oncoming motorist to pass before claiming the other side.”
