BREMEN RADIO HANDED OVER TO GERMANS
BREMEN, April 5.
The Bremen radio station was handed over to the people of Bremen today by the American Military Government, says the Associated Press correspondent in Bremen. The transfer of control to German hands took place in a brief ceremony attended by General George Hays, deputy American Military Governor. General Hays said it was now left to the Bremen citizens to decide what they wanted to hear. The new German manager said his aim would be to make the station independent, free of authorities and interest groups.
