COMMUNISTS TO CONTEST ELECTION

Because, it say). the differences between the Labour Party and the National Party have been reduced almost to vanishing point the New Zealand Communist Party will contest as many seats as possible at the forthcoming general election, according to a statement issued by the Communist Party today. In previous years, said the statement, supporters had been told to vote for Labour in electorates where there was no Communist candidate.
