MR. NASH’S PATIENCE TESTED
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb; 28. Had the Minister of Works, Mr. R. Semple, changed places with the Minister of Finance. Mr. W. Nash, today the Auckland harbour bridge project might have had a boost. “Transport is very difficult. It took me an hour to get here,” Mr. Nash said on his arrival at his city headquarters. At North Shore, where he is stopping while in Auckland he had waited an hour in the vehicular ferry queue. “You can understand Aucklanders wanting a bridge then?” the interviewer asked.
“Oh, yes,” replied Mr. Nash and, after a pause, he added smilingly "it sounds good.”
