SAFEBLOWERS’ HAUL FROM CITY SHOP

AUCKLAND, Feb. 28.

Safeblowers operated in the centre of the city during the week-end, it was discovered today. They smashed a fanlight and entered the premises of E. Le Roy, Limited, tent, clothing and flag makers, Queen street. They blew open with gelignite a safe containing £36 in cash. The explosion shattered the inside of the safe door.
