TWO NEW FOLIO CASES IN MARLBOROUGH

BLENHEIM, Dec. 10.

Two new positive cases of poliomyelitis have been admitted to the Wairau Hospital. One is a girl eight years of age whose sister was admitted a week ago and who is undergoing “iron lung” treatment. The other patient, also a girl, is one year old.

49-YEAR MAN GETS POLIO (P.A.) AUCKLAND. Dec. 10.

A Devonport man aged 49 years has been admitted to hospital as a positive case of poliomyelitis. There are six positive and one suspected case in hospital.
