BOOKMAKERS FINED £SO EACH
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 15. In the Police Court today James Walker, aged 27, a painter, and Michael John Kenny, aged 26, a salesman, were each fined £SO or two months’ imprisonment for bookmaking. The magistrate, Mr. J. H. Luxford, said the books seized showed that their bookmaking business had not been very profitable.
