RUGBY PLAYER KING RETURNING TO GISBORNE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 18. G. King, the North Island Rugby forward last year who came to Wellington from Poverty Bay at the beginning of the season and has been playing for Onslow, left this morning to return home and intends to finish the season in Poverty Bay. King failed to gain selection in the Wellington representative team this week to play Taranaki. He played in the second fifteen against Marlborough on the King’s Birthday.
