RUSSIAN CONTROL OF GERMAN TRAINS

BERLIN, June 13. The German railway authorities announced that, with Soviet approval, German passenger trains for the West would start from Friedrichstrasse station in the Russian sector and would not as at present pick up passengers in the British sector.

This restriction will help to give the Russians effective control of Berlin, even during the normal four-Power rule.

Apparently not only the running of trains will be under Russian control, but it will be possible to buy tickets only in the Soviet sector.
