TENSION IN KARACHI: BAN ON ASSEMBLIES
(10.30 a.m.) KARACHI, June 13. The Karachi District Magistrate has banned all processions and assemblies of five or more people and also the carrying and collection of weapons. He said the ban was due to the "state of tension among the people of Karachi as a result of the separation of Karachi from Sind Province.”
