GOAL KICKS DECIDE
The Celtic Intermediate players gave what was probably their best display so far in the competition and at one stage held a six-three lead over Old Boys. On tries the honours were easy each side registering two. Old Boys were more aggressive in the concluding stages and deserved the decision, but had to rely on goal kicks to turn the balance. Tries for Old Boys were scored by the forward. N. Doreen, and the five-eighth, B. White, the latter converting one and adding n penalty goal, while the centre. D Blanc, Obtained a field goal. Celtic’s tries were scored by .T. Stevenson and G. Bain. Mr. N. Balfour was the referee.
