(10 a.m.) NEW YORK. June 11. It is learned that Count Bernadotte, the United Nations’ mediator, has asked for British ships and aircraft and more American officers to observe the Palestine truce, says the United Press correspondent at Laxe Success .

The disclosure aroused grave fears among the United Nations’ officials for the success of the truce as it is considered certain that Israel’s two extremist groups would react violently to the reappearance of British forces.
