WOMEN IN TEARS FAREWELL NAZI OFFICERS

LONDON, May 12. Dozens of well-dressed women, with tears in their eyes, were those who waved good-bye to 76 top-ranking German officers when they b° ar ded a train from a war prisoners’ camp in Wales to return to Germany. Several of the women, some of whom with husbands, gave the generals bouquets of flowers as the train drew out. A radio commentator, LieutenantGeneral Dietmar, and the defender of Monte Cassino, General Zenger, were among the departing Germans.
