SENTENCED TO DEATH
GERMAN S.S. WOMAN (9 a.m.) HAMBURG, April 27. A British war crimes court sentenced to death a German S.S. woman warder Ruth Closius, aged 28, for sending over 3000 Allied women to death in a gas chamber at the Ravensbruck women’s concentration camp. Tiie court sentenced Margaret Rabe, aged 25, to life imprisonment on a similar charge and Elfriede Mohneke, aged 26, to 10 years’ imprisonment for illtreating women internees.
