PRESIDENT’S TROPHY PLAY DRAW FOR TWO ROUNDS The Wairoa Golf Club's first medal round of the season was played under ideal conditions. Some of the best scores returned were:—M. P. Baird. 78, 14 64; R. The first round is to be completed tomorrow and the second by May 8.
The Moore Tikis changed hands after a fighting finish, the holders, Heslop and Krogh, being beaten by Jelbert and Goldstone.
The Top Dog buttons have also made an early change of lapels, Muir and Trewby passing over to Thomson and Sainsbury.
